The Ladakhi plateau is infused with breath. The breath of the sky comes to life in swirling currents hugging the majestic mountains and galloping across vast stretches of high desert. The breath of the earth rises through the poplar trees and the tender green shoots of the garden. At Ladakh Sarai, the flows of the natural world are integrated into life in a dynamic and beautiful relationship. The vital practice of Yoga was born in this landscape and, reinvigorated by our participation, flourishes in our oasis.

Day 1

Arrive in Leh. First day for complete rest. Evening general stroll around the resort and followed by an easy stretching and meditation.
Schedule: Evening yoga – because its our first day … we will basic do flow yoga/stretching and meditation.

Day 2

Wake to the crisp morning lights and fresh breath of air- start the day with hot glass of herbal concoction. Followed by guided yoga. Monastery sightseeing, market and evening yoga. Visit the Thiksey monastery and Shey Palace. Post Lunch visit Shanti Stupa and market.
Schedule: Wake up call 6:30.Yoga:7 am to 8:30 AM. Breakfast 9:15. 10:15 proceed for sightseeing. 6 to 7 Evening yoga.

Day 3

Followed by our morning yoga and breakfast- we will visit Hemis monastery- the largest monastic seat in Ladakh- from there we walk to a cave ” Gotsang”- renowned yogi of 11th Century meditated here for unspecified numbers of years and today, yogis are living there for their solitary meditation and practise. Its good 45 minutes walk up a well laid path. Visit the cave and meditate there for some time and than return  to our car parked at Hemis.  A beautiful hearty picnic lunch by Indus. Some of you who fancy riding a bike – can ride back to Sarai (Bike ride will be an additional cost to those or as group- because it engage bringing the bike from Sarai to the lunch spot in backup truck and the backup truck will follow till you finish your ride. Visit Stakna monastery.

Schedule: Wake up call 6 AM.Yoga:6:30 am to 8 AM. Breakfast . 9:30 Am proceed to Nubra Valley.

Followed by morning yoga and breakfast. Proceed to Nubra valley over Khardunglha pass -18380 ft.  Leh-Nubra (125 Km /5-6 Hrs)

Your individual practise and proceed to Pangong Lake. The drive along the Shyok river to Pangong will take through magnificient landscape – after 4 and half hours you will arrive at the Lake, another 35 minutes drive bring you to our resort in Pangong . Nubra – Pangong  via Shayok valley (165 km 6-7 Hrs )
Schedule: 8:30 Proceed for breakfast. Arrive at Lake around 2 PM. Evening yoga by the Lake.

After morning practise of yoga by the lake- followed by breakfast drive back to Leh over Changlha pass 17600 ft/.Enroute visit beautiful cave monastery of Trakthok- where Guru Padma Sambhava meditated for years. Pangong lake to Leh (155 Km 5-6 Hrs)
Schedule: 6 AM wake- 6:30 AM –Yoga by the lake. 8:15 AM- breakfast . Evening -6:30 Yoga

Schedule: 6 AM Wake up. 6:30 to 8 AM yoga. 8:45 AM breakfast. 6 PM to 7PM Yoga.

If you are flight is late we will do final yoga class in the morning or else , have an early flight and leave for the airport.
